IDIB is Making music & art as a collective since 2006 from Los Angeles. Founded by Johnny Jewel, it Is Home for Glass Candy, Desire, Orion, Juno Francis, Glume, Causeway & more. The elegant disco-noir aesthetic Johnny’s developed as the house producer and co-founder of the Italians Do It Better label has always found its audience : Chromatics never released a bad record… there’s never been an Italians release that isn’t good. Since now everything’s been great and All these songs are classics now. Jewel’s managed to create an artistic bubble for Chromatics and Italians Do It Better and made sure it will last. Its music has been used in many Films and Advertising a lot for all these reasons.
Desire just released her first LP the 3rd of May 2022, with my favorite tracks « Escape » & « Black Latex ». Jewel still collaborates with many artist as a producer, a remixer or for soundtracks projects. Recently the label released many projects such as the Madonna’s Covers LP, Causeway first LP, Juno Francis, Joon, Sally Shapiro projects ….
